...................... The round-table “Tourism – economic perspective of Mostar” The Center for Youth Entrepreneurship organized a new round table titled “Tourism – economic perspective of Mostar”, which found place in the office of the Center, situated in the Mostar’s Business Incubator. In addition to the representatives from the Center, spokespersons from the Federal Ministry of Tourism, The Tourist Association of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and employees in tourism in Mostar participated on the round-table. It was concluded that tourism represents the most important economic sector in the city of Mostar at this moment. But the concern for the development of tourism is not in the center of attention, which automatically leads to a frail offer of the city. One of the biggest problems are the beggars who gather on the most frequent places where tourists arrive. It was determined to focus more on the education of all employees in the tourist sector because there have been made mistakes here too. A bigger amount of financial support has been required from the Federal Ministry of Tourism, because Mostar has become an enormously attractive destination lately. |
